The Spanish luxury fashion house, founded in 1846, is one of the best-known luxury labels from Madrid, Spain. The German craftsman, who specialized in leather working, started the label in the mid-1800 and became soon the main-provider of luxury wear for the Royal family. The label worked in cooperation with some of the greatest names in the fashion industry, such as Karl Lagerfeld and Giorgio Armani. In 1970, Vincente Vela created the famous Loewe monogram, which is still the recognizable trademark of the label. Nowadays, Loewe boutiques are found all over the world.
